Josh Andersen is a talented up-and-coming cinematographer with an instinctual eye for lighting and practiced composition. He is a positive, progressive thinker and always strives toward the benefit of the project. Josh is a child of low-budget filmmaking, and understands both the limitations of a budget and solves problems in a creative manner. He has worked in nearly every department and understands how to collaborate efficiently. A native of Greater Los Angeles, he has a rare mix of comfort and alienation that fuels the themes in his work. In his free time, Josh enjoys painting and photographing people and landscapes.
His most recent projects include two feature films currently in post-production (Banging Lanie and The Untimely Demise of Miranda Veil) and he recently worked with the advanced camera acting students at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts to create 54 scenes and short films over eight weeks.
